No matter how much we hate learning SPELLINGS, we can’t do without them. To ensure our students learn spellings the fun way, we at BHSM organized SPELLEBRITIES 2018. 4 teams from the BLUE, GREEN, RED and YELLOW house participated in this fun competition. Each team had 4 participants and Team BLUE was the proud winners. 4 teams, 5 rounds of intense quizzing, an exciting tiebreaker round and loads of fun!
To welcome Baby Jesus and mark the beginning of the Holiday season, we staged our very own Christmas Nativity play! The celebrations started with a musical choir singing Silent Night as the adorable Joseph and Mary carried their baby lovingly to the manger. Surrounded by lovely angels, happy shepherds and 3 cute kings, the ambience was that of fun and laughter and also nostalgia. But how can any Christmas celebration be complete without our favourite, Santa Claus? So, when the choir sang ‘Jingle Bells Jingle Bells’, there came Santa ringing his happy bell and laughing Ho! Ho! Ho!!
What better way to mark the foundation day of our school than a dance recital staged by our little ones? We want to thank our founder, Shri SK Birla for paving the way to a bright future. Your vision shows us the way forward every day. It was indeed a day of merry making for all of us present. Seeing our beloved students transform into cute animals made us every bit proud. Our maiden production, 'Together Forever' was all about the famous quote, 'United we stand, divided we fall'!
"Play is the highest form of research" - Albert Einstein. We couldn't agree more. BHS- Mukundapur celebrated its first ever Sports meet on 23 February 2019. Every student from nursery to class II participated in drills, yoga and races. From the Hoola race to a race with NGO kids, it was a day full of fun and laughter. We want to thank our chief guest, Grandmaster Dibyendu Barua, dignitaries from the Vidya Mandir Society, parents, teachers, staff and last but not the least, our dear children who made this day a grand success.
On 1st and 5th August, Topaz House organized an inter-house quiz contest in the AVR where Garnet House emerged victorious.

A mother is a child’s first teacher. The children of Nursery celebrated Teachers’ Day in a special way on the 4th of September, 2019. They dedicated this day to their mothers - their first teachers.
Inter- House Kabaddi competition was held on 20th September 2019 in compound 1 where Topaz House emerged as Champions.
Nursery children went to the Gurudwara Sant Kutia on 16/9/19 .The motive of this educational trip was to show the students different places of worship. The children and teachers were accompanied by some parents. The Gurudwara authorities gave them Prasad and also sent some for the teachers. They sang some hymns for the children .It was an enjoyable and fruitful experience.
