Classes I to IX

Dear Parents,

Kindly note the dates for the Final Term Assessments:

 Classes III to V – Monday, 26^th February 2024 to Tuesday, 5^th March 2024.

 Classes VI to IX – Wednesday, 21^st February 2024 to Wednesday, 6^th March 2024

Dispersal for students of Classes I to IX will be at 12:30 p.m. in lieu of the final assessments from Wednesday, 21^st February 2024 till Wednesday, 6^th March 2024.

From Thursday, 7^th March 2024 onwards, students will attend school at normal time to attend the Bridge Course for smooth transition to the next higher class and for the rehearsal of the Annual Concert.

The last day for after-school activities for Classes III to IX will be Tuesday, 20^th February 2024. The same will remain suspended from Thursday, 22^nd February 2024 until further notice.

Saraswati Puja Celebrations

Classes VII to X

Dear Parents,

This year we will be celebrating Saraswati Puja (Basant Panchami) in School on Wednesday, 14th February 2024.

Students from Classes VII to X inclusive of the Student Council are welcome to join the celebration in the school’s Prayer Hall.

Please note:

Students may come to school in their ethnic attire.

• Reporting time: 8:45 a.m.
• Time for the Puja: 9:00 a.m.

Republic Day Celebration

Educational Trip to Fort William

Classes V-VII

Dear Parents,

The students of Classes V to VII will be visiting the Fort William during school hours as a part of their educational trip on Tuesday, 9th January 2024.

Students will report to school at the usual scheduled time at 7:50 a.m. and will be dispersed from school as usual at 2:00 p.m. The school buses will be used for the trip.

Kindly download and fill the consent form and submit it to the Class Teachers by Monday 8th January 2024.

ASSET Examinations

Classes III, V and VIII

Dear Parents,

Greetings from Birla High School – Mukundapur!

This is to inform you about the upcoming ASSET (Assessment of Scholastic Skills through Educational Testing) examinations that your wards in Classes III, V, and VIII will be participating in during this month.

The ASSET examinations are skill based and diagnostic assessments that measure students’ conceptual understanding of core subjects such as English, Mathematics, and Science. These assessments provide the students with opportunities to challenge themselves and develop their skills. These are stress free and require no prior preparation.

We are pleased to inform you that the entire cost of the ASSET examinations is being borne by the school authorities.

 Participation in these tests is compulsory for all students of Classes III, V and VIII.

The ASSET examinations will be conducted within school hours and pupils will be provided with the question papers and answer scripts. The schedule for the same is as follows:

English -- Monday, 8th January 2024

Maths -- Monday, 15th January 2024

Science -- Thursday, 25th January 2024
