On 7th August 2025, Birla High School – Mukundapur celebrated Raksha Bandhan with ten children from SHOISHOB, an NGO for underprivileged children in Tiljala. Students of Classes I and II warmly welcomed the guests with smiley badges, songs, dances and recitations, creating a festive and inclusive atmosphere. The highlight of the event was the rakhi-tying ceremony, where students tied rakhis on the wrists of the visiting children, symbolizing friendship and unity. Thoughtful gifts, including toys, stationery and food items, were distributed, spreading joy and compassion. The celebration beautifully conveyed the values of love, empathy and social responsibility, reminding everyone that true bonds are built on care and kindness.
