The Lower KG students presented a Special Assembly titled “The Ocean’s Glee – The Story of Maya the Mermaid” on 20th February 2026, highlighting Sustainable Development Goal 14 – Life Below Water. Through the story of Maya and her sea friends, the children conveyed the importance of keeping oceans clean and protecting marine ecosystems. The programme featured engaging storytelling, melodious songs and colourful dance performances that captivated the audience. The highlight was the enchanting Jellyfish Dance, performed with remarkable coordination and enthusiasm. The assembly successfully combined learning and entertainment while showcasing the confidence, creativity and talent of the young learners.
