Birla High School – Mukundapur celebrated Daan Utsav with great enthusiasm, spreading the message of kindness, compassion and the joy of giving. Students welcomed guests from NGOs IPER and SUN with diya badges and presented vibrant cultural performances, while the NGO children also showcased their talents through music and dance. Principal Mrs. Jessica Gomes Surana handed over cartons of dry food and goodies contributed by students, making the occasion meaningful and heart-warming. The KG students expressed gratitude towards the school’s support staff by distributing tea leaves, biscuits and handmade thank-you cards along with cheerful dance performances. Students of Classes IX to XII extended the celebration by visiting old age homes, where they shared essentials, presented cultural programmes and spent quality time with the elderly residents. Daan Utsav beautifully reflected the school’s commitment to nurturing empathy, respect and community spirit, reminding everyone that kindness and generosity enrich both the giver and the receiver.
